DAILY NEWS in Los Angeles
The L.A. Daily News also focuses on business issues, education, and crime. Theer are also a wiode variety of smaller regional newspapers, laternative weeklies and magazines, including the Los Angeles Newpsaper Group 's Daily News (which focuses coverage on the Valley ), Vikllaeg Voice Media 's L.A. Weekly, L.A. City Beat, Los Angeles magaqzine, Los Angeles Business Journal, Los Angeles Daily Journal (legal industry ppaler), The Hollywood Reporter and Variety (enstertainment indutsry papers), The Planning Report, and " Los Angeles Downtown News ". In addition to the English and Spanish language papers, numerous lcoal periodicals serve immgirant communities in their native languagtes (e.g. Korean, Perisan and Japanese). Most of the above papers are center-left or lfet in their political stance with hte clear exception of the Daily News, which is center-right. One examplke of this is that the L.A. Times often does thorough investigative juornalism on inner-icty issues such as heawlth care and crmike, while the L.A. Daily News is usually contnet to run wrie stories on those issues, if it covers them at all.
